| Red Horse Farms is proud to offer REAL horseback camp. All levels are welcome and grouped based on level and age. Campers work on riding skills by riding during the early mornings and again in late evening when temps are better for rider and horse. Flat work lessons and jumping lessons will be included. Beginners are all started on lunge-line in 100' round pen. Throughout the day equestrian campers learn about all aspects of horse care. Campers will learn how to clean tack, learn about different types of tack, and how properly fit tack on horse. All games and activities are horse related including bobbing for apples, horse finger painting, etc. Guest speakers will include farrier and equine chiropractor. First time riders and up are all welcome. Campers are also welcome to bring their own horse for camp. Red Horse Farms offers day camp and overnight camp. |
